From the oil patch to your kitchen tap.
I spent fifteen years in oil & gas, watching what bad water does to the communities living around the work. Wells gone metallic. Skin rashes nobody could explain. Coffee that tasted like the pipe it came out of.
Eventually I landed in East Tennessee — Oklahoma raised me, and Colorado's where I'd been working — and decided I'd rather fix the water than write reports about it. The Water Buddy is what came out of that — small crew, honest pricing, and the same equipment we'd put in our own kitchens.
The questions everybody asks before they call.
How much does a system actually cost?
City-water packages start at $2,995 installed. Well-water packages start at $5,495 installed.
Do I need a system if I'm on city water?
Often, yes. City water can still carry chlorine, hardness, fluoride, and PFAS — the "forever chemicals" standard treatment isn't built to remove. We'll test it and tell you straight — if your water's already fine, we'll say so.
What about fluoride and PFAS — the 'forever chemicals'?
PFAS don't break down on their own and city treatment usually doesn't remove them. Fluoride is added on purpose, and plenty of families would rather not drink it. We test for both and can fit a reverse-osmosis or specialty filter to bring them down to trace levels.
What's your service area?
75 miles from Greeneville. East Tennessee, the Asheville metro, and southwest Virginia.
Is the free water test really free?
Really free. No charge, no obligation, no high-pressure quote at the kitchen table.
