Owner story — Blake Self
For fifteen years, I worked in oil and gas. Along the way, I saw what bad water can do to people and communities — metallic-tasting wells, skin problems, and families who didn't trust what was coming out of their taps.
After a while, I realized I didn't want to spend the rest of my career documenting those problems. I wanted to help solve them.
After growing up in Oklahoma and spending years in Colorado, I put down roots in East Tennessee and started The Water Buddy. We're a small crew focused on doing things the right way: honest recommendations, fair pricing, and equipment we proudly install in our own kitchens.
Because everyone deserves to know their water is safe, clean, and dependable.
